Carla Saucedo is an experienced and respected nursing leader with over seventeen years in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. As Director of Nursing at Brookside Extended Care, she oversees the clinical care of ninety-two residents, many of whom have complex medical needs requiring skilled, coordinated support. 

Carla began her career as a floor nurse, where she developed a strong clinical foundation and a deep understanding of individualized care. Her commitment to excellence led to advancements as an IP Nurse, where she specialized in care planning, regulatory compliance, and program implementation. 

Now in a senior leadership role, Carla brings a calm, thoughtful energy to her role and is someone who people trust to follow-through. She’s fully invested in the work and shows up for both her team and the individuals we serve in a way that’s consistent and dependable. 

She also supports the nursing side of Leaps and Bounds, helping to keep communication strong between both programs. Carla works closely with their team to make sure medical needs are consistently met and that care stays seamless across settings. Her involvement helps strengthen the connection between day programming and residential support, which makes a big difference in the overall experience for the individuals we serve.
