Elliot Tinch
Program Director
Elliot Tinch is a dedicated and compassionate human services professional with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. His career is distinguished by a strong foundation in cross-cultural education and a deep commitment to promoting independence, inclusion, and dignity for those he serves.
Most recently, Elliot served as a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) with Empowering People Inc. under Cardinal Healthcare Management. In this role, he led a team of direct service providers and oversaw individualized treatment planning for residents at the Affinity Place facility, ensuring high standards of care and person-centered support.
Previously, Elliot worked as a Lead Job Coach and Job Developer, playing a pivotal role in employment readiness and job placement for individuals with developmental delays. Through his work with the Project SEARCH program, he championed community integration, independent living, and vocational development, helping clients build meaningful, self-directed lives.
Earlier in his career, Elliot taught English in South Korea and Thailand, designing engaging curriculum for students from elementary to high school. These international teaching experiences strengthened his communication skills, adaptability, and cultural competence—qualities that continue to enrich his work in the field of disability services.
