Jessie Cione

Jessie has been part of Brookside Extended Care since 2007. She began as a direct support professional and gradually stepped into leadership roles, taking on more responsibility over the years. In 2020, she transitioned into the Human Resources department, and in 2024, she became Director of Human Resources. 

In her role, Jessie manages payroll, employee benefits, hiring, on-boarding, and staff training. She supports new employees from the very first day and helps make sure they feel prepared, informed, and welcomed. Jessie also works closely with our day program provider, Leaps & Bounds, helping to coordinate staff needs and promote consistent communication across departments. 

Jessie focuses on creating a workplace where people feel respected and included. She helps keep Brookside compliant with state and federal regulations, but her role goes far beyond that. She takes the time to build relationships with staff, offers support when needed, and helps foster a team environment built on trust and collaboration. Jessie’s approach is rooted in the belief that a strong team creates better care for the individuals we serve.
